Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
We are writing to you today with joyful and hopeful hearts. Our beloved parish church has stood for generations as a sacred house of prayer, a place of worship, and a spiritual home thanks to the faith, commitment, and generosity of parishioners like you. It is here that thousands have been baptized, nourished by the Holy Eucharist, and strengthened through the Sacraments. In this beautiful church, we have shared the joy of weddings, the sorrow of funerals, and the enduring gift of faith.
After many years of faithful service, our church and rectory are now in need of significant restoration — most notably, the recladding of the buildings to preserve their integrity and dignity for future generations.
In this spirit, we invite you to participate in our campaign: Restoring the Beauty of St. Ann. Your generous support will help us renew and safeguard our parish home so that it may continue to glorify God and welcome the faithful in Ancaster for many years to come.
This project includes, but is not limited to:
- Complete EFIS recladding of the entire church and rectory
- Replacement of 23 protective windows shielding our stained-glass windows
- Restoration of several stained-glass windows
- Redesign of the Wilson Street entrance, landscaping, and circular driveway
- New front steps to the rectory
- A new accessible rear entrance to the church with an automatic door
While the project is budgeted at approximately $1,000,000, we have a strong start to our financing with $400,000 in our Building Fund, along with funds remaining from the One Heart, One Soul campaign. We are also blessed that our Diocese is providing us with an interest-free loan of $800,000 and a generous donation of $80,000 toward our renovations.
We invite you to prayerfully consider making a gift to this important project. Please know that all contributions — large or small — are received with sincere gratitude and are fully tax-deductible. Above all, we ask for your prayers that our efforts may be guided by the Holy Spirit. May our Lord, through the intercession of St. Ann, bless our parish family and the work of our hands.
Yours in Christ,
